APPLES

During the month of October, we learned about apples. Each child brought in a different colored apple. We compared seeds, skin texture, and taste. No one really liked the green ones, "their to sour"! We felt the red and green apples had the toughest skin. We also planted all the seeds together, I thought we could see what came out of it! (but the seeds were not sprouting and the dirt was starting to smell, so I had to throw it away. I still haven't told the kids!) But we had fun regardless!
